Alexandra (Alex) Lee is a behaviour support practitioner and team leader in Newcastle with university degrees in arts, teaching and special education. Alex has contributed to the disability sector for almost 20 years, with experience in special education, community services and disability support. Alex supports NDIS participants of all ages, with a focus on children and young people with high/complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), mental health, behaviour, physical disability, multiple diagnoses and paediatric care. Claire Higgins is a behaviour support practitioner in south west Newcastle who graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Forensic Mental Health. Claire’s work in the mental health and disability sector have focused on acute and community care settings, suicide prevention, dual diagnosis, rehabilitation and counselling. Claire provides Positive Behaviour Support to clients of all ages in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions of NSW.
Hollie Moulton is a behaviour support practitioner in Newcastle with extensive experience supporting children and adults on the autism spectrum. Hollie was previously Deputy Manager at the National Autistic Society in the UK. She was also an ASD consultant in an Infant’s school and day care support worker, where she developed and taught communication methods to teaching staff. Hollie supports NDIS participants of all ages and primarily works with clients on the autism spectrum and clients with learning difficulties or multiple diagnoses.
Megan Farquhar is a behaviour support practitioner in south east Newcastle with over ten years experience in the disability sector. Megan’s experience and qualifications in mental health, counselling and nursing bring valuable listening and observation skills to her role as a behaviour support practitioner. Having worked as a Registered Nurse, Megan brings a calming and approachable presence to Ability Consultants and the individuals she supports. She is passionate about human rights and committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and lead liberated lives. Megan supports NDIS participants of all ages, with a particular focus on mental health, trauma and supporting clients who are culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD).
Valentina Fable is a behaviour support practitioner Newcastle with extensive qualifications including university degrees in arts, law, holistic counselling and psychotherapy. Valentina has experience providing mental health counselling to individuals of all ages and emotional regulation support to neurodivergent children and young people, as well as supporting clients through the legal and justice systems. Valentina supports NDIS participants in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie including individuals of all ages with a particular focus on neurodivergent children and young adults.
