Tim is an optimistic altruist who has a passion for working with children and a keen interest in developmental psychology, particularly the early years. He has been working with children with special needs within the education system since 2015, successfully reintegrating them into mainstream education and improving their overall quality of life. He has helped increase the long term positive outcomes of students through establishment of strong relationships with family members, staff and peers.
He approaches behaviour support from an individual perspective, combining the underpinnings of psychology and evidence based practice, with creative, person-centred plans, to achieve outcomes with the best interest of the client and their support network in mind. Tim has also previously worked as a Clinical Assistant within the field of Audiology, helping disabled people of all ages with hearing loss. Tim is a trained performing artist, (Actor, Singer) and a professional Writer, he loves films and breaking into song whenever appropriate (or not), this has proven an invaluable asset while working with children, lending itself to storytelling and highly creative play.
