Behaviour Support Practitioner
Megan has over a decade of experience within the disability sector in both the United States and Australia. Her career began in 2007 as a support worker and Special Olympics coach before obtaining her degree in education in 2014. Endorsed in learning and behaviour, Megan led her school’s autism classroom, as well as teacher immersion programs, in inner-city Chicago before moving to Sydney. She currently provides support across a range of positions while working towards a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Megan has a particular interest in functional skill building and transition support for young adults into home, vocational and community settings. Having seen support delivered from various angles within the sector, Megan values collaborative, respectful and meaningful relationships which embody a person-centred and strengths-based approach.
