Leisa is a Skilled, results-driven professional offering experience she has gathered since she started working in the Community Services, Disability and Training sector in 2001. Some of her experience has been hands-on complex support, teaching, and managing teams including clinical teams for behaviour support. Known for cultivating safe, supportive, and person-centred environments conducive to achieving results for individuals, teams and interested parties. Leisa is known as an agile facilitator who can quickly adapt to learner needs and changing business and stakeholder requirements. She is an articulate, memorable speaker and trainer exemplifying an honest, authentic communication style.
Leisa’s interest is working with Australia’s First Peoples and their families, advocating where she can for reconciliation with and self-determination for all First Peoples of this country. Leisa's ultimate goal in life is to be acknowledged as a kind and compassionate advocate, especially for those who experience Intersectionality. But most importantly to be known as just an amazing human being.
