Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner
Jenny has been working as a registered Social Worker since 2014. Jenny’s passion as a Social Worker, and Advocate, began whilst she worked with Disability Services and in the Health System. Jenny has years of experience working with children, and adults, throughout the state of Tasmania and prides herself in providing high levels of support to all her clients and families. Jenny has trained experience in providing supports in Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ADD, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), Acquired Brain Injury, Intellectual and Dementia. Jenny’s contacts include NDIS LAC’s, NDIS Planners, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, Support Coordinators, Occupations Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, The Office of the Senior Practitioner and Providers of Supports from Hobart through to the West Coast of Tasmania. Jenny has continued to challenge herself in the field of Social Work with further training and professional development including Auslan Sign Language, Braille, University training courses specific to Positive Behaviour Support and Inclusion. At the core of all of Jenny’s understandings resides the passion for Inclusion, Equity, and Quality of Life for every individual she supports.
